Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is hiring a dependable Prep Cook/Cashier to join our school food service program on-site at Ogorman High School. The role involves prep work, serving students, maintaining a clean kitchen, and operating a POS system during meals.

The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer service, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule. A focus on food safety and proper meal handling helps support a positive student dining experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and adjust quantities for large batches.
• Dependability, integrity, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using a POS system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items by following recipes and ensure meals are ready for serving times.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including storage areas and logs.
• Maintain food safety and compliance with HACCP and production records.
• Communicate supply needs and feedback to team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and assist with prep lists.
