Chicken Salad Chick in Carmel, IN is seeking a Daytime Team Member to support guest service, sandwich line, and production, ensuring a smooth, friendly dining experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, operating POS, serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety guidelines. Ideal applicants are 16+, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Reliable daytime availability to work mornings, lunch and afternoons.
• Weekend daytime availability is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant setting is a plus but not required.
• Current student or high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to count cash and make change accurately, if applicable.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required food handler’s certification for respective state/local area, if applicable.
• Reliable attendance and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Accurately take orders and operate POS systems; assist guests with kiosks as needed.
• Ensure guests' needs are met promptly and efficiently.
• Serve and prepare food and beverages according to standards.
• Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests professionally.
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and positive energy.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area and reset tables.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and assist in kitchen organization.
• Follow instructions from managers to ensure timely preparation of orders.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
