Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick is hiring a Daytime Team Member to support front-line operations, serving guests, taking orders, and keeping the dining area clean. The role covers Service, Sandwich Line and Production with a focus on friendly service and accuracy.

Requires 16+ years, reliable daytime availability, and strong customer service skills. Training and opportunities for advancement are available in a fast-paced environment with daytime shifts (8:00 AM–4:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Reliable availability to work daytime shifts, including mornings, lunch, and afternoon hours.
• Weekend daytime availability is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant setting is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
• Current student, or high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Ability to follow verbal & written directions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to count cash and make change accurately, if applicable.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required food handler’s certification for respective state/local area, if applicable.
• Reliable attendance and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Accurately take orders and operate POS systems; assist guests with kiosks as needed.
• Ensure that guests' needs are met promptly and efficiently.
• Serve and prepare food and beverages according to standards ensuring order accuracy and quality.
• Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a polite and professional manner.
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and positive energy.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area and keep tables reset for new guests.
• Follow instructions from Managers to ensure timely preparation of orders.
• Collaborate with coworkers and MICs to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Communicate clearly with team members to provide high-quality service.
