St. Mark Village in Palm Harbor, FL is hiring a PRN (on-call) Security Officer to help keep residents, staff, visitors, and property safe. You’ll patrol the community, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate security records.

The role offers daytime shifts as needed, with a competitive hourly pay of $16.00–$16.50. Requirements include a Florida security license, 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience, and a valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Florida security license (required).
• 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience (required).
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record (required).
• CPR/AED certification within 6 months of hire (EMR preferred).
• Must pass a drug screening.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Protect the community by monitoring for fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Patrol regularly to keep residents, staff, visitors, and property safe.
• Respond promptly to 911 calls and emergencies, direct emergency personnel, and help with crowd control as needed.
• Keep accurate logs, incident reports, and security documentation.
• Help with general maintenance as needed, including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and grounds upkeep.
