Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support a therapist-led approach at Avalon Health & Rehab Center in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. The PTA will assist the supervising Physical Therapist, implement individualized treatment plans, and document patient progress.

You will educate patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on a daytime PRN schedule at the Mt. Vernon facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for PTA licensure.
• Current, unencumbered PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
