Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for various meal periods and special events at our Austin location. The role requires accurate prep, efficient execution, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

The position operates roughly 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities spanning kitchen organization, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality service for guests and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent.
• Ability to work with large volume culinary equipment.
• Strong adherence to food safety and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clock in and out for workday and breaks.
• Provide the highest quality of service to clients and guests.
• Prepare and execute recipes and prep lists for breakfast, lunch, dinner and catered events.
• Follow food safety, HACCP, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
