Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.
• Minimum one year of relevant healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, one-on-one observation and monitoring of assigned patients.
• Provide direct patient care such as vital signs and transporting patients as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Maintain a safe environment and alert nursing staff to signs of distress or changes in patient condition.
• Document observations and interventions in EPIC in a timely manner.
• Stock linens and supplies and ensure patient rooms are prepared for care.
• Follow hospital protocols and procedures related to patient observation and safety.
