Job summary

Midlands Technical College is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach daytime, on-ground, and dual enrollment courses in accounting, business, graphic design, management, and marketing. Instructors prepare materials, interact with students, maintain records, and meet reporting deadlines while staying current in their disciplines.

Positions are located across multiple Midlands campuses, including Airport, Beltline, and Lexington North Lake, with opportunities for out-of-area teaching

Qualifications

• Master of Business Administration or a master's degree in a business-related field, with at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Professional industry credentials relevant to the teaching discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course materials and deliver instruction.
• Communicate and interact effectively with students.
• Maintain accurate attendance and grade records and submit grades on time.
• Follow course schedules and use the LMS for instruction and communication.
• Assess student learning outcomes and report on progress.
