Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative healthcare team. The position offers a daytime schedule with flexibility for either a 3- or 4-day workweek.

You'll provide high-quality, patient-centered care, perform histories and examinations, develop treatment plans, and coordinate referrals as needed. The role emphasizes independent work within a supportive team and adherence to clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in the state of practice
• National certification as NP or PA
• BLS certification
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority where applicable
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-care abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the broader healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care within the provider’s scope of practice
• Conduct patient histories and physical examinations
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations
• Provide preventive care and health education
• Coordinate referrals and consultations as needed
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Follow clinical protocols and safety standards
