Job summary

Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct high-quality patient care under licensed providers' guidance. Responsibilities include triaging and assessing patients, administering tests, blood draws, and vaccinations, with strong infection control knowledge.

The role also covers documenting nursing care in the EMR, scheduling appointments, monitoring inventory, and training new staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program required.
• Licensure in South Dakota or ability to obtain upon hire.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (can be obtained upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under licensed providers' guidance.
• Document nursing care in the EMR system.
• Administer tests, blood draws, and vaccinations.
• Monitor inventory and assist with scheduling.
• Train new staff and support quality improvement initiatives.
