Job summary

HomeGrown is a daytime eatery in Springdale, known for breakfast and brunch. You’ll join their Kitchen Team as a Line Cook, learning recipes and maintaining high standards of presentation and speed. The crew emphasizes kindness, teamwork, and personal development in a busy, scratch kitchen.

Qualifications

A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for periods of up to 10 hours per day.
Willingness to help with dishes, prep cook responsibilities, and assist other stations on the line as needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown's Recipes, Plate Presentations and specifications (60%*).
Complete all assigned prep work, following recipes exactly as written (15%*).
Set up workstation (5%*).
Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%*).
Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift (5%*).
Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects (5%*).
