Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparation of meals in large community living facility, including entrées, soups, salads, sauces, desserts and snacks.
• Supervising Line Cooks and other kitchen staff to complete tasks on time.
• Ensuring cooking stations are stocked with ingredients and equipment.
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards before, during and after shifts.
• Adhering to food rotation practices to reduce waste and contamination risk.
• Assessing quality of delivered food supplies to ensure restaurant standards.
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and utensils at end of shifts.
