Job summary

PGW Auto Glass seeks a Delivery Driver and Warehouse associate responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering automotive glass to customers on a designated route. You will handle fragile glass with care, ensure timely deliveries, and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires safe vehicle operation, attention to detail, and the ability to work on a team with dispatch and warehouse staff. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Delivery driving experience is preferred, especially with fragile materials.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with traffic laws and policies.
• Pick, pack, and load customer orders accurately.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Assist customers with deliveries and ensure products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery records and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and organization.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent product damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers.
