Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass on a designated route. You will handle fragile glass safely, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain professional customer service while following all safety regulations.

The role involves operating box trucks, loading and unloading, using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed, and keeping accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; DOT certification may be required for some vehicles.
• Experience delivering fragile materials and handling glass products safely.
• Ability to operate or learn forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in loading and delivering.
• Basic computer skills for routes and delivery documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and maintain reliability.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with laws and policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery records, including invoices and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and organization.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers.
