PGW Auto Glass is seeking a Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass on a designated route. The role emphasizes safe handling of fragile glass, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service while complying with regulations.

Responsibilities include loading and securing materials, operating box trucks, and maintaining delivery records. Prior delivery experience with fragile items, a clean driving record, and physical ability to lift up to 75

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; DOT certification may be required for certain vehicles.
• Delivery driving experience, preferably with fragile materials.
• Ability to operate or learn forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading and delivering products.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and material organization, as needed.
• Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent product damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
