Primrose School of Algonquin seeks an Entry-level Early Childhood Support Teacher to join our team in Algonquin, IL. This role offers full-time or part-time hours with a 8:30am–5:30pm window or 3:00pm–5:30pm, depending on shift. No nights, weekends, or holidays required, and training is provided.

We value caring, patient individuals who love children and can contribute to a safe, nurturing classroom. Covid vaccination is required and a high school diploma is the minimum education.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children
• Assist with age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
