Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Dishwasher for day shifts to support our school lunch program. You will wash dishes, sweep, mop, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in a fast-paced setting.

No nights or weekends; guaranteed hours with a positive, team-oriented culture. Uniforms and PPE are provided, along with daily lunch and opportunities for advancement within Taher’s nationwide footprint.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able work in standing position for long periods of time.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Maintain clean work environment.
• Assists other team members as needed.
• Be on time.
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and comply with department dress code.
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
