United Disability Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Akron. As a DSP, you will provide instruction, training, and supervision to individuals served, while helping with personal care as needed.

This regular full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00am–4:30pm, NO nights or weekends, and a robust benefits package including paid vacation and sick leave, health insurance, vision, HSA, holidays, and a $750 hiring bonus for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Must pass a Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill an instructor/trainer role and supervise individuals served.
• Assist with personal care as needed and help individuals learn community skills.
