Job summary

SouthernCarlson in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Delivery Driver for a full‑time, daytime weekday role. You will safely operate a box truck, deliver tools and materials to jobsites and customers, and provide friendly service while supporting warehouse tasks. A DOT card is preferred and forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical or have a current DOT med card.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Forklift experience preferred (training available).
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year delivery experience preferred, especially in construction or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck.
• Deliver tools, fasteners, and materials to jobsites, warehouses, and residential customers.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery location.
• Assist with warehouse duties including picking, staging, receiving, stocking, and loading.
• Report vehicle, delivery, or route issues promptly.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
