Job Summary

The Custodian / Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience. Responsibilities include:

1. Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the gym floor.
2. Stocking locker rooms with supplies and paper products.
3. Proper disposal of trash and maintenance of trash cans.
4. Cleaning high areas such as ceiling fans, TVs, and rafters.
5. Reporting broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
6. Following the Lost and Found Policy and returning lost member property promptly.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Honesty and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Diplomacy and appropriate behavior in interactions.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Occasionally lifting over 80 pounds.
• Handling toxic chemicals.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing activities.
• Moving in various positions to complete tasks.
