Job summary

Environment Control Southwest Ohio is seeking a daytime floater in Columbus, OH for 35 hours/week. The role covers a range of cleaning duties on a daytime schedule, primarily Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with possible early or late shifts based on daily needs.

The position offers pay of $15/hour, with 401(k) eligibility after 1 year and 1,000 hours, and mileage reimbursement for non-commute miles. Training is provided and opportunities for advancement exist.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all Day Porter routes.
• Fill-in cleaning across open accounts and absences.
• Assist in training new Day Porters.
• Follow up on customer complaints.
• Perform scheduled daytime cleaning tasks (banks, windows, vaults).
• Handle emergency calls.
• Deep clean and disinfecting service calls.
• Assist with supply delivery and inventory.
• Submit detailed daily report.
• Report to EC Manager and daily check-ins.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Assigned Area – 35 Hours/Week - Columbus; Schedule: Mon–Fri 9am–4pm; may shift earlier or later.
