Are you passionate about providing care and support to individuals in their own homes? Griswold Home Care for Medina, Wayne & Western Stark Counties is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

About the Caregiver Role:

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes. You will play a vital role in ensuring their well-being and comfort. This companionship and caregiving position has flexible scheduling with daytime shifts available. Clients typically receive 4 hours of care and at times, longer shifts may be available.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
  • Administer medication reminders
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
  • Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and errands

Requirements:

  • Preferred 1+ years caregiving and mechanical lift experience but we are willing to train you.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
