Job description

PGW Auto Glass is a national leader in the Auto Glass industry with over 100 years’ experience and over 100 warehouses throughout the United States and Canada. We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse/Delivery Driver with an excellent driving record and a passion for customer service. The applicant will be responsible for general warehouse labor and organization as well as operating a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers. Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment.
• Load Company trucks for delivery routes, perform daily safety truck inspections, and verify manifest/product match for the deliveries to be made.
• Drive a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous and responsible manner.
• Deliver product to customer locations, confirming orders and product condition obtaining confirmation signatures and payments as required.
• Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all PGW policies, customer requirements and federal/state/local regulations.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines.
• Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with PGW’s warehouse and delivery methods, techniques and procedures.
• Proficiently use smartphone and/or tablet.
• Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing and ascending/descending stairs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with no lifting restrictions.
• Ability to work without fear of heights in a safe and protected environment.
• Ability to work in a standard warehouse environment, occasionally exposed to extreme cold and heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
• The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday but may occasionally include weekends.
