Job summary

Beverage-Air in Brookville, PA is seeking a Material Handler to supply assembly lines with parts from inventory and move materials safely. This full-time role involves packing, labeling, organizing kit carts, and maintaining records.

You will operate forklifts (training provided), use scan guns, and assist with receiving parts while upholding safety and teamwork standards. Overtime, benefits, and a monthly production bonus are included.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience is a plus.

• Load/unlock trucks.
• Receive and stage parts from several methods of delivery – e.g., Picklist, Kanban, etc.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for supplying an assembly line or department with the necessary parts used in the production of our innovative, high-quality refrigeration products.

We have a great deal to offer: 5% employer match on 6% employee contribution to 401(k), pay progression review 12 months after hire date, holiday pay, first- year paid vacation of up to 40 hours, and health insurance eligibility the first of the month, following hire date. In addition, earn a monthly production bonus of up to one (1) extra dollar for every hour worked in a month for reaching production targets!

Current Shift Available:

• 1. Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (10 hrs.) – Starting hourly rate from $13.50 up to $20.50, corresponding with experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide production departments with material from inventory
• Band, wrap and/or pack/unpack Raw Material, and label material
• Build Kit Carts
• Maintain accurate paperwork and production records
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Operate forklifts (training provided)

• Load/unlock trucks
• Receive and stage parts from several methods of delivery – e.g., Picklist, Kanban, etc.
• Move objects up to 50 pounds
• Stand for prolonged periods
• Ascend and descend stairs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of one year of material handling or warehouse experience
• Prior forklift experience is a plus!
• Computer Competency – you are familiar with Microsoft Windows and are comfortable with navigating through screens and reading/responding to email
• Safety Mindfulness – you actively notice new things, think while you are working, and plan ahead what you will do next
