Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical assistance to children and adults. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing personal care, companionship, and support to children or disabled individuals, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This is a full-time position for 45 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
2. Help with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and general cleaning.
3. Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
4. Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
5. Ensure the client’s home environment is safe and comfortable.
6. Provide medication reminders (non-medical assistance).
7. Monitor the well-being of the client and communicate any changes to family members or supervisors.
8. Assist with running errands such as grocery shopping, appointments, and other activities as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
2. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic.
3. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
4. Reliable and punctual.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Ability to lift and assist with mobility if needed.
7. Must pass background check and drug screening.
8. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).

We offer meet-and-greets so you can introduce yourself to the patient, learn their story, and understand their care plan. Our goal is to treat clients as we would our own family. We are flexible with scheduling and will match your clients to your availability, keeping you close to home whenever possible. The onboarding process is completed online through our employee portal, including paperwork, background checks, and drug screens, followed by an online video call orientation.
