Role Overview

The Strategic Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the business vision, goals, and needs for the Dayshape program. This role involves providing business and technical support to internal teams, ensuring smooth operations of the Dayshape platform. The analyst will monitor integration logs, support data issues, test product enhancements, and deliver excellent customer service.

Essential Duties

1. Strategic Business Analysis Planning & Execution:

• Lead enterprise analysis activities.
• Participate in product road mapping.
• Provide strategic recommendations for current and future work.
• Assist product owners and managers with backlog management.

Agile Business Analysis Planning & Execution:

• Lead requirements elicitation sessions.
• Document user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop supporting documentation, including flow diagrams and data mapping.
• Collaborate with product designers on UI development.
• Work with technical and QA teams to size and validate user stories.

Community of Practice Support & Process Improvement:

• Ensure adherence to RMO Community of Practice Standards.
• Promote agile adoption and understanding.
• Offer insights and process improvement ideas.

Dayshape Platform Support:

• Review integration logs daily for successful syncs.
• Triages errors in syncs.
• Support data mapping and product enhancement requirements.
• Assist in testing and deploying new functionalities.
• Support regression testing for system changes.
• Maintain repository of upload files.
• Support migration of projects and user management.
• Review support tickets weekly for escalation.
• Monitor support metrics.
• Update support procedures documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to analyze backend systems and data mapping.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools.

Specific Requirements

• Ability to work collaboratively across all levels.
• Strong business analysis techniques and user experience knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work across time zones.
• Attention to detail, motivation, and initiative.

Experience

• At least 8 years in business analysis within a development environment.
• Experience with product management, third-party relationships, and process improvement.
• Experience with scheduling and professional services tools.

Management

• Experience supervising a small team of BAs for large projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dayshape and Workday.
• Certifications such as CBAP and AAC.
• Professional services experience.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.

Salary range: $111,200 - $190,300. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and location. Selected candidates are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
