Job summary

Monroeville Post Acute is seeking a Laundry Aide for full-time daylight shifts. You will provide quality laundry service to residents, maintain linen supplies and support a clean, sanitary environment in a 131-bed facility.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding laundry, labeling items, and delivering to rooms while following safety protocols. GED or HS diploma required; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry procedures.
• Basic math skills for inventory and light record keeping.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.
• No certifications required

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove worn items.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use laundry equipment safely and report issues
