Job summary

Lifesteps is hiring a Daylight Caregiver in Bethel Park, PA to join the caregiving team in a residential home setting. This is a full-time day position with hours from 7am to 3pm. As a Direct Care Aide, you will assist adults with disabilities with daily living activities, meal prep, personal care, and transportation to appointments.

No experience is required; paid training is provided. A successful candidate must be 18+, able to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance, and obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance.
• Must be 18 years or older and obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities, including grooming and bathing.
• Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Clean the home and shop for groceries and supplies.
• Provide medication administration as directed.
• Coordinate community outings and activities.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.
