Job summary

GDT - General Datatech is seeking a Dayforce Benefits Implementation Consultant for Dallas, TX. The role prefers onsite work but can be remote for the right experience, and is a full-time/direct-hire position.

You will support all stages of the implementation lifecycle, including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment and post go-live support, under the Project Manager. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, configuring Dayforce, managing client expectations and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 3+ years Dayforce Benefits implementation experience.
• Experience configuring Dayforce Benefits module and Open Enrollment projects.
• Proficiency with SQL and Excel; strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy implementation project plans with on-time delivery and ROI optimization.
• Lead client workshops and sessions; coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Configure Dayforce to meet client requirements and perform testing and deployment.
• Document client requirements and map to Dayforce functionality; provide knowledge transfer.
• Travel to client sites as needed on a limited basis.

Dayforce Benefits Implementation Consultant

Dallas, TX – Prefers onsite 5 days per week, but can do Remote for the right experience

Full-Time/Direct Hire

The Benefits Implementation Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include gathering client requirements, configuring the Dayforce solution to meet documented client requirements, setting and managing client expectations, providing guidance to Associate Consultants, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager. The Consultant may also deliver Organizational Readiness consulting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy implementation project plans and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and optimize return on investment
• Manage all aspects of the implementation process which includes collaborative consultation with the client, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training and full deployment
• Document/validate client business requirements and map to Dayforce functionality
• Configure Dayforce application to meet client’s business requirements
• Conduct consulting sessions (video/phone/in-person) and document with meeting minutes
• Attend internal project meetings and provide status on activities and deliverables
• Apply functional and technical expertise to effectively execute requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training and full deployment
• Consult and advise clients through the implementation process on best practices that maximize value and return on investment
• Collaborate with the project team, internal partners, external client, and third parties to ensure the successful delivery of the time and attendance management system
• Responsible for managing the integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of employee data
• Audit data and modules as needed
• Provide clients with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise
• Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users
• Review policies periodically and make best practice recommendations

Qualifications:

Technical

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or other technical degree
• 3+ years of Dayforce Benefits implementation experience
• Understanding of common human capital management (HCM) business practices
• Experience with configuring, implementing, and maintaining Dayforce Benefits module
• Experience configuring Open Enrollment projects to configure plan/rate changes in the Dayforce Benefits module
• Experience importing employee and dependent/beneficiary benefit election records into Dayforce
• Ability to configure Plans/Options, Eligibility Qualifiers, and Enrollments in Dayforce
• Ability to configure COBRA Events and the PPACA Calendar in Dayforce
• Ability to conduct knowledge transfers for clients on the PPACA Administration process in Dayforce
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
