Job summary

The Learning Experience is hiring Teachers for Twos and Preschool classrooms in Alabama. You will lead and mentor co-teachers, manage a safe, nurturing classroom and implement the LEAP Curriculum across age groups, adapting to each child's needs.

You will communicate regularly with parents, participate in staff development, and contribute to enrollment and engagement goals. A dedicated, growth-oriented team awaits in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED + 12 ECE college credits required; more advanced credentials preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; state guidelines must be met.

• Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement our proprietary LEAP Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing adventures and achievements through apps and discussions.
• Support center success by partnering with staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic learning environment.

• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred
• High school diploma/GED + 12 ECE College credits required. Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aide certification preferred
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
