Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Meridian, ID is seeking a dedicated childcare teacher to join our team in a full-time role. In our Toddler and Twos classrooms, you will foster a loving, educational environment and support young children's development during 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

The position requires being at least 21 years old, ability to drive a bus, strong communication with children and staff, and a commitment to safety and state licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to drive a bus.
• Full-time availability (~40 hours/week, Mon-Fri) with scheduling flexibility.
• Positive and reliable work ethic.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, staff, and to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
• Previous childcare experience preferred but not required.

Description

We are seeking a CHILDCARE TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy in the following classrooms:

• Toddler Teacher 8:30am-5:30pm
• Twos Teacher 8:00am-5:00pm and 8:30am-5:30pm
• Must be at least 21 and can drive a bus

All applicants MUST:

• Have positive and reliable work ethic.
• Be able to work full-time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday) and be flexible with scheduling.
• Have a passion for working with young children!
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.

Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required.

$15.00- 19.25/hr. (D.O.E)
