Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Boise seeks a childcare teacher for a full-time role (about 40 hours, Monday–Friday). You will teach and care for young children in a supportive environment.

Applicants should have a positive work ethic and a love for teaching kids; previous childcare experience is preferred but not required. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

We are seeking aCHILDCARE TEACHERto join our team at New Horizon Academy in the following classrooms:

All applicantsMUST:

• Have positive and reliable work ethic.
• Be able to work full-time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday), and be flexible with scheduling.
• Have a passion for working with young children!

*Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required.

$15.00-$19.25/hr. (D.O.E)

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
• Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.

Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
