The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy in Lenoir, NC is hiring full-time and part-time teachers who are passionate about early childhood education. Responsibilities include creating a safe, nurturing classroom where children learn through play, supporting social-emotional growth, and communicating with families via daily updates.

Teachers may earn higher pay with advanced education and experience. Positions include Infant Teacher Assistant and PT Floater Teacher (1pm to 6pm).

Compensation & Pay Range:

$15-$19 per hour

Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.

Teacher Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required and EDU119 credentials required for lead teachers

• At least 6 months experience working in licensed childcare required
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies
