Job summary

Pediatric Health Choice is seeking Direct Care Staff to join our team at a leading PPEC center. You will assist with daily childcare tasks and complex medical care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, providing structured play, monitoring and safe transport.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff, and engagement in developmental milestones. BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain is required, and the position offers a rewarding career helping

Qualifications

• Experience with infants, toddlers, or children preferred.
• Healthcare, patient care, or child care experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
• BLS and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable and committed to high‑quality care.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily childcare tasks and complex medical care under RN supervision.
• Provide structured, age-appropriate play and therapeutic activities.
• Monitor and record patient data, vital signs, and responses to care.
• Help transport children to and from the center and ensure safety during travel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment for children.
• Support social events, play activities, and developmental milestones.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

• 18 years of age or older.
