Daycare Cook & Bus Driver | Columbia

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking full-time Daycare Cooks / Bus Drivers for two of our preschools in Columbia. Have fun and make a difference every day. We are hiring immediately and would love to meet you!

Pay rate: $17-19 per hour, based on experience, education and credentials.

Available Locations:

• Clemson Road, Columbia
• Broad River Road, Columbia

Some Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Prepares and distributes meals/snacks for children according to guidelines and provided menus.
• Follows daily menu that incorporates USDA, licensing and/or health department regulations.
• Ensures safe food preparations and proper sanitation methods are used and maintains a safe kitchen/pantry area.
• Maintains inventory of food and supplies.
• Safely transport children to/from area elementary schools and field trips in small bus.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for large group food service, preferably in a childcare center, preferred.
