Job summary

Sugar Bear Day Care Inc. is seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our home daycare team. Shifts run Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm (5 days a week).

You will maintain daily communication with families, plan developmentally appropriate activities, prepare snacks, and provide basic caregiving. If available, First aid/CPR certification is preferred. This on-site role offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as daycare teacher or childcare provider.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Patient, kind, and nurturing.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• First aid/CPR certified (preferred).
• 18 years old and up.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication on Procare with families and staff of childrens' day
• Conduct a daily and weekly activities that are developmentally appropriate
• Prepare and serve snacks and meals
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Daily cleaning assigned is completed on time
• Weekly disinfecting toys & house dusting
• Annual training 20 hours continuing education at request of administrative staff
