Qualifications

• Able to secure or currently have Maine Educational Technician Certification III.
• Meets Federal and State requirements.
• Be a collaborative team member.
• Has a High School Diploma or equivalent, or higher.
• MEIS # Number - Required.
• CHRC/Ed Tech Authorization - Required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Desire to work with school-aged children with disabilities.
• Work with and instruct students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with educational support staff, related service providers and administrators.
• Regularly communicate special education students progress/needs to staff.
• Communicate with teachers and school administration on student issues as needed.
• Participate in school faculty meetings and staff development workshops offered by the district.
• Enforce and uphold all District and Program/Building policies, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned.
