Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Technician to join our team and provide support to students with academic and/or medical needs. In this role, you will assist in the classroom setting by supporting students with their academic and functional progress as impacted by skills deficits and health-related needs. Responsibilities may include supporting academic progress, reteaching, managing medical needs, providing assistance with daily tasks, and working closely with teachers to ensure students' success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist students with accessing and making progress in the general education curriculum
• Assist students with executive functioning skills such as task initiation, task completion, movement breaks, and emotional regulation.
• Assist students with medical needs and support their health-related requirements throughout the school day.
• Help students stay engaged in classroom activities and provide academic support as needed.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to implement individualized learning and care plans.

Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.59 to $26.87 Per Hour

Job Requirements

• Qualifications:
  MDOE Educational Technician Certification III - required

  Strong communication and organizational skills – preferred
  MEIS Number - Required

• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
