MSAD 75 is seeking a Paraprofessional III for the K-8 Day Treatment Program. This 35-hour-per-week role involves supporting students individually or in small groups, preparing instructional materials, and reinforcing learning under teacher supervision.

Qualifications

  • Three years of post-secondary education or 90 hours of approved study.
  • Valid Maine DOE Educational Technician IIICertification.
  • Valid Maine DOE CHRC background check authorization.
  • Behavioral Health Professional certification preferred.
  • Mandt trained or able to train.
  • Strong behavioral management skills and PBIS implementation ability.
  • Demonstrated record keeping skills.
  • Proven ability to function as a team member.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs.

MSAD 75 is seeking a Paraprofessional III - K-8 Day Treatment Program to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.

POSITION:

35 Hours per Week

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Based on Student need, instruct individuals 1 on 1 or small groups of students under the indirect supervision of a teacher
  • Prepare instructional materials
  • Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by classroom teacher or designee
  • Manage behavior according to IEP and behavior plans
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Three years of post-secondary education or combination equivalent to 90 hours of approved study
  • Valid State of Maine Department of Education Educational Technician IIICertification
  • Valid State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) Authorization
  • Behavioral Health Professional certification preferred
  • Mandt trained or able to train
  • Strong behavioral management skills, ability to consistently follow and implement positive behavior support plans
  • Demonstrated record keeping skills
  • Proven ability to function as a team member
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
