Texas Orthopedic Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Day Surgery Unit to provide high-quality, efficient care. You will be part of a team that supports each other while focusing on patient outcomes and safety.

Qualified candidates have a nursing degree, Texas RN license (or compact), and BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications. BSN is preferred and Day Surgery/Pre-Op experience is a plus. This is a full-time on-site role in Houston.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
• 1 year of experience in an acute care Medical/Surgical setting is required. Day Surgery/Pre-Op experience is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact; must obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients in Day Surgery Unit.
• Apply nursing process, critical thinking and leadership to deliver safe nursing care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate communication, confidence and professionalism in unit/organization activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
• Deliver quality nursing care and promote a positive image of nursing.
