Job summary

Circle of Friends in Virginia is seeking a Coordinator to supervise the Day Support Program and ensure adequate staffing, training, and documentation. The role includes on-call coverage and collaboration with the Director to align services with person-centered goals.

Ideal candidate will have knowledge of HIPAA, DBHDS/HCBS regulations, and experience with ISP development, data analysis, and emergency procedures. Strong communication and staff development skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field is required; 3 years ID/DD/MH experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Criminal Background Check compliant.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise DSPs and provide coaching.
• Complete monthly supervision and QA checks of staff documentation.
• Monitor ISPs and ensure person-centered services.
• Prepare written reviews showing progress and needs.
• Ensure compliance with DBHDS, Medicaid Waiver, and HCBS regulations.
• Respond to incidents and perform RCA when applicable.
