Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southwest Agg LLC seeks a front-line equipment operator to move and stockpile materials, inspect and maintain machinery, and support production needs. You will load trucks and feed plant equipment while maintaining safe, organized work areas.

Ideal candidates demonstrate safe operation of heavy equipment, strong situational awareness, and a dependable, detail-oriented work ethic. The role requires flexibility to handle changing workloads and comply with safety procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile materials safely and efficiently
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure reliable operation
• Load trucks and feed plant equipment in alignment with production needs
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including stockpiles and haul roads
• Follow all safety procedures and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Starting pay range $23.00- $24.00 per hour DOE
