Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southeast Agg LLC seeks a Pit Loader Operator to move raw materials and operate a pit loader safely on site. You will perform routine inspections, maintain equipment, and transport materials within the site while complying with safety rules.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate pit loader safely and efficiently to move raw materials
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Load and transport materials to designated areas within the site
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
