Job summary

Steffes Solutions, LLC is seeking a Welder I to join our production team. You will operate wire welders, plasma arc equipment, and cutting torches while reading blueprints and adhering to standard work and training guides.

This role requires basic problem solving, ability to follow weld procedures, and a commitment to safety. Periodic overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading blueprints or drawings preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate wire welder, plasma arc, and cutting torch.
• Read drawings, blueprints, and heat numbers as applicable.
• Follow standard work and weld procedures to meet customer requirements.
• May assist with basic robot operation and TPM tasks where applicable.
• Maintain a safe and collaborative work environment.
