Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our distribution team in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise staff, allocate shifts, and drive safety and efficiency metrics to meet customer expectations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional managers, organize training, and ensure proper use of warehouse tools and equipment. The role requires leadership, logistics expertise, and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in management, administration, supply chain, customer service, or 5+ years working experience in product distribution to customer base.
• Knowledge of MSDS, Equipment checklist, BOL documentation.
• Working understanding of Warehouse Management System.
• Strong leadership, motivation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and move 150+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse workers and delegate tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and legal procedures.
• Oversee shift allocations and staff efficiency.
• Organize training activities for staff.
• Ensure proper functioning of warehouse tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other managers and support new team members.
• Drive improvement initiatives with measurable results.
• Prepare analytics and data to inform internal meetings.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
