Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Warehouse Agent (Day Shift) in Plainfield, IN. You will perform warehousing and distribution tasks including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, labeling, loading/unloading, and inventory control.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with responsibilities spanning safety, documentation, and warehouse systems. You will work with freight, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of scanning freight in/out of the warehouse.
• Detail oriented with good follow-up.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates forklift, pallet jack, and warehouse equipment.
• Handle hazardous materials as applicable.
• Handle life science and healthcare shipments.
• Staging of freight and handling of IWS freight.
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse areas.
• Dimensioning and weighing freight.
• Complete forms and logs.
• Support productivity improvements.
