Job summary

US Foods in Houston, TX is seeking a General Warehouse Associate for a 1st shift. You will pick and pack orders, scan products, and assist with shipping, receiving and palletizing. The role requires comfort in a refrigerated environment and lift capabilities. Overtime may be required. Fluency in Spanish is noted in the onsite context.

Qualifications

• Requires basic reading, writing and math.
• Minimum 6 months warehouse experience preferred, preferably in food environment.
• Ability to lift 10–100 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to operate and walk behind electric pallet jack and sit-down/stand-up forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders per customer specification.
• Scan product to capture data.
• Sort, organize, repack, palletize, and weight products.
• Ship and receive product using material handling equipment.
• Perform facility sanitation duties and other duties as assigned.
