Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support inbound and outbound activities in our Ontario, CA facility. You will follow SOPs to process orders, perform quality checks, and prepare shipments.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating material handling equipment, and using a Warehouse Management System. Overtime is required and safety rules must be followed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• RF scanner experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and shipment preparation.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Operate the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products; follow regulations for refrigerated items when required.
• Drive material handling equipment as required (e.g., order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a safe work environment.
