Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Hicksville, NY to join our dairy operations. You will handle front-line warehouse tasks, coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, and operate a forklift daily on the 1st shift.

The role requires 18+, 1 year of work experience, basic computer and math skills, and forklift certification. You’ll assist with packing, loading, cycle counts, and keeping the area organized and safe; overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
• Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery
• Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
• Successful forklift certification required
• Other duties as assigned
