Job summary

Owens & Minor in Arden, NC is seeking a full-time Warehouse Supervisor for the day shift (7am–3pm) with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include coordinating receiving, warehousing and shipping, and coaching direct reports to ensure accurate, timely operations.

Lead and supervise warehouse teammates, schedule workloads, train on equipment, enforce safety, and collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Sales and Customer Service to keep our operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Three years leadership experience in a warehouse.
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack).

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists teammates.
• Plans work activities by reviewing bills of lading and orders.
• Prepares delivery schedules with Driver Supervisor.
• Assigns duties, verifies incoming/outgoing goods, and organizes storage.
• Establishes schedules and ensures timely, accurate work.
• Supervises leads and warehouse staff and trains teammates on equipment.
• Enforces safety regulations and motivates staff to meet goals.
• Conducts performance reviews and handles personnel actions.
• Suggests improvements to quality and equipment use.
• Ensures compliance with federal warehouse regulations and OSHA.
